Blank Dungeons

Blank Dungeons
I see Blank Dungeons as occupying a space between dungeon maps, map packs, battle maps and the like and full blown adventure modules. They could be considered akin to a one-shot adventure but not quite. There is no hook or overarching storyline. The GM brings the adventure to the table and overlays it onto the Blank Dungeon environment.
I envision Blank Dungeons as scenes or settings with appropriate descriptions and maps that tell the GM about the dungeon environment and any action that may be occurring in the setting.
Blank Dungeons are meant to help GMs throw together a dungeon adventure with little prep or warning. They could easily serve as side quests in a larger adventure or possibly even as the background for a main adventure.
People buy plain maps all the time and this is simply a step up the ladder to give the GM a little more to assist their efforts.
