Emergent Adventure System Soft Launch
My new method of building RPG adventure modules for Game Masters that want to create and sell a better product was just soft-launched at ConGregate.com along with a playtest session.
I want to thank all that helped make the playtest demo a success.
ConGregate for the room to hold my session in.
The players that took a chance on this brand new method of designing RPG's and helped to make this a fun success. The play testers seemed to enjoy the Mansion Escape both in enthusiastic play and positive comments after game play.
My wife, Misty, whose support and social contacts helped to make this a reality.
I know I had fun and really, the playtest went off better than I had hoped and helped to reassure me that this pursuit is not in vain.
Here is everything I presented that is brand new.
I launched my new website doyouopenthedoor.com and newsletter via Ghost.com.
The newsletter, Do You Open The Door?, will focus on using my Emergent Adventure System (EAS) as a new interactive approach to game module design that keeps the focus on the GM and making their job easier.
I launched a playtest demo RPG, Mansion Escape, that is not fully finished but will serve as a tool for interested observers to watch as I continue to work and the product morphs into a fully finished RPG module.
I launched a fully designed interactive dungeon module, The Writhing Depths, this free dungeon is for Game Masters to utilize both as a module to run and as a basis for a design platform that suggests multiple approaches to interactive dungeon design.
I am looking forward to both revealing my design methods and releasing fully built interactive dungeon modules for GM's to use and learn from.
