Table at ConCarolinas

I just finished up at ConCarolinas.org convention in Charlotte, NC where I had a table for 3 days and sat in on 4 panels, one of which I was moderator which I enjoyed because it felt a liltle like being a GM.

Of course I constantly saw the same GMs at the panels as we presented our hard earned knowledge over the years of being GMs and that being a GM is a learning experience and no one starts out great at the job.

It is also a comforting thought that we have all the same struggles and generally land on the same answers as experienced GMs.

I hope to see some of them more later as I expect to continue to attend more conventions, especially ones that lean toward TTRPGs.

Here are some (not a complete list) of the GM's I met at tables and at panels.

Game Masters that see my demo respond very positively but it takes a lot for a person to change their habits and this includes convincing GMs that this is a great prep method for running games at the table.

They don't need to use it for full production of an entire module to try and sell. That is not really the point. I want their job of being a GM to be easier and that leads to more fun at the table.

Modules they purchase can be easily converted through copy/paste into what becomes a "One Page Dungeon" where you can run an entire adventure from the map.

No more struggling with information retrieval when everything a GM needs can pop-up right in front of them.

There are also other games that are well presented in this digital format like solo-adventuring and many other mini-games and board games. It takes a little bit of imaginative thought to break away from the idea of a linear presentation in a story format and convert it into a single page with hotspot information pop-ups.
